Aprilium 2, a BBC (low energy) certified building, plays with light and the relationship between the indoor and outdoor spaces via an original façade.
A large amount of natural light enters the offices of this 8-storey building. Why is this? It has a highly permeable mobile envelope. Lots of large windows and loggias are used to create offset gaps between each floor. This innovative choice gives rhythm to the façade and improves the link between the inside of the building and the city. To improve this window on the city further, the roof of the building has spacious terraces with a panoramic view of Lyon Pillars have not been used on the 7 floors of offices. This is to make the work spaces more versatile and modular.
