Shopping & eating out
La Part-Dieu is a lively district with a wide choice of shops and restaurants, where you can go shopping or eat out.
One of the most dynamic shopping centres in Europe
The leading city centre shopping centre in Europe, it offers a wide variety of shops and restaurants matching the requirements of an urban clientele in search of something new, in modern facilities. The urban project plans to open it up to the city by providing better access, a new roof terrace, more modern façades and a new multiplex cinema that will continue to make it one of the most dynamic commercial spaces in Europe, but also to help integrate the centre fully in the district.

Paul Bocuse indoor food market, a symbol of gastronomy
The Lyon indoor food market is a true institution in Lyon, selling a distillation of the best gourmet food from Lyon, the region and Europe for 40 years. Choice fresh foods and gastronomic know-how has made it famous. Named after the well-known Lyon chef, Paul Bocuse, in 2006, a regular client of the establishment, it has been considerably modernised: general renovation of the building, creation of a glass structure Cours Lafayette and repairs made to the court area around the building, make it a very pleasant place to buy food.
