In 2022, the To-Lyon tower will represent a landmark in the vicinity of the railway station and in the Lyon cityscape. This tower will provide a variety of uses: offices, hotels, shops and services.
The To-Lyon is one of the largest tertiary projects in Europe. It will provide offices (65,000 m²) a four-star hotel and shops and services on the ground floor, on the site of the current Novotel and Athena hotels, which are to be demolished. What is at stake? The idea is to improve economic attractiveness and make the area a tourist destination by providing a good “conference and trade show” offering. The foot of the To-Lyon will open out onto the district and will be directly linked to the west shopping mall of the new railway station.
This mixed use connects buildings to each other, uniting a variety of architectural representations. It is specific to 21st century Lyon.
